Would you like to rehome one of our fallen angels?
Not all dogs that we select turn out to be suitable as a hearing dog - this can be for a variety of different reasons. Whilst we endeavour to select the right kind of dog, sometimes it becomes apparent that a dog may be more suited to being a pet dog. We then try and find them a loving home.
Rehoming a dog
Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is looking for people to offer homes to dogs like Winston that haven’t made the hearing dog grade.
Would you be able to offer a loving home to a dog? When one of our dogs
does not meet the strict criteria expected of a hearing dog it is our
responsibility to find it a home with people who understand the specific
needs of the dog. These needs will not be serious problems for an experienced
dog owner!
Are you in a position to provide time and patience; perhaps you have a grown up family or you need a friendly companion?
We offer a carefully selected dog which is already:
• toilet trained
• micro chipped
• vet checked
• vaccinated and wormed
