Dilly makes a new friend

Welcome back to Dilly’s Puppy Pen!
Lovely Dilly is excited to catch up with you.
What a smiley pup! One of the reasons Dilly is so happy is because she recently enjoyed a playdate with her new friend Isla, a retired hearing dog.
Spending time with other dogs is an important part of Dilly’s training. As well as picking up lots of tips and tricks from Isla, it was also a brilliant opportunity for Dilly to practise interacting and playing nicely with other dogs – for example, learning how to be polite and how to read other dogs’ body language.
Dilly will meet lots of dogs throughout her training and her life as a hearing dog, so we want to make sure she feels happy and comfortable around her fellow fluffy friends.
One thing we’ve noticed about Dilly is just how cuddly and affectionate she is. After a fun day of learning and play, she loves nothing more than snuggling up with Kate, one of her Volunteer Dog Trainers.
